Ashis Guha appointed CEO at RAH Infotech

India’s seasoned executive Ashis Guha to lead IT VAD RAH Infotech from April 2018.

Ashis Guha is joining RAH Infotech as new CEO.

Ashis will lead the business operations for value added distributor (VAD) company RAH Infotech.

An industry expert, Ashis has held senior roles with technology vendors including Sanovi, Perpetuuiti Technosoft, Brocade, Sun Microsystems, NetApp over the past two decades.

Delhi headquartered RAH Infotech distributes products and solutions for dozen plus enterprise technology global MNCs across channel ecosystem in India. RAH Infotech also has offices in Singapore and Dubai.

Ashis has been helping us over important things in the past few months and he will formally come on board in first week of April as company’s CEO, confirms Ashok Kumar, MD & CEO, RAH Infotech.

Ashis has a mandate to lead the company into the future, both immediate and long term as company’s CEO. “He will play a pivotal role in driving our growth to the next level that includes adding new technologies, opening up new territories and new verticals. He has the freedom to do whatever it takes,” says Ashok.

Ashis once on board will report to Ashok Kumar.

Ashok has been MD and CEO of RAH Infotech since the company’s inception more than a decade ago. “As a team at RAH, we are visualizing a much bigger and more exciting future for the company especially in the age of digital disruption. We plan to scale its existing business lines manifold, add new and disruptive technologies and emerge as a very different company in next three years as per him,” says Ashok.

Ashis has moved from tech OEM side for over past two decades now to the other side – the channel ecosystem.  “Having worked with OEMs and System Integrators, I understand their challenges and expectations from Value Added Distribution. I see an opportunity for me to bring that knowledge, share with our team and offer “true value” to all stakeholders,” says Ashis Guha, CEO designate, RAH Infotech.

shok Kumar says, “We need a strong and visionary executive team to achieve the next phase of growth. Having worked with Ashis (part of OEM) in the past we felt he was the best person to lead RAH into these realms.”

I have seen the phenomenal growth of RAH Infotech under Ashok’s leadership for the last few years as an OEM vendor to them, and their achievements are impressive says Ashis.

With Ashis on board from April; Ashok will focus on driving new initiatives at RAH. “This includes supporting India and Asia start-up ecosystem as an angel investor and mentor. I never had the bandwidth for these dreams as CEO. Having entered the most exciting decade of my life, I would like to impart a much bigger and holistic character to RAH,” he says.

Talking on the role of CEO at RAH Infotech; Ashis says,“I look forward to closely working with the existing partners, expanding and strengthening RAH Infotech’s Channel, and offer further footprint expansion for our OEMs in the areas they need us. We will focus on adding new technologies, new territories, new verticals to benefit both channels and OEMs.”

We will work very closely with the OEMs to be their true representation and extended arm across India’s channel ecosystem, says Ashis.

RAH Infotech is expected to continue its good growth story. I can’t divulge the numbers but we have easily grown over 30 percent this fiscal than last one, says Ashok. He adds, “The biggest growth contributor is the sheer momentum that we have built over the years. The team is working with a mission, our vendors and channel love working with us and the overall atmosphere is upbeat.”

“Of course, the new sign ups, ever growing channel family and flawless execution have contributed a lot. We hope to carry the same momentum with some key strategic initiatives being added that augurs well for us,” says Ashok.

Ashis who began his career as marketing executive for HCL & DCM Data Systems in 1994 is excited to join RAH Infotech and work with Ashok and his talented team. RAH Infotech has been on extremely aggressive growth path and I look forward to contributing to catapult the growth manifolds, he says.

Speaking on the big technology trends in 2018, Ashis says that the humongous amount of data in midst will give momentum to AI and ML, Predictive Analytics and Intelligent Apps and Edge Computing.

He has been industry’s successful leader with great experience and vision working with enterprise accounts and datacenter technologies.”
