RAPID7 SECURITY LEADER’S DINNER IN ASSOCIATION WITH RAH INFOTECH
Rapid7 in association with RAH Infotech invited top 20 security leaders from Mumbai for an evening of networking and discussion to share and exchange their insights about cyber security and vulnerability management. Rapid7’s Senior VP of Product Delivery, Mr. Richard Perkett was in town for this gathering of Senior Security leaders to educate them about the latest security trends.
With Indian being ranked as the ‘world’s 17th most exposed countries in world’ in the recent Rapid7 National Exposure Index research ahead of Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan, Malaysia and Bangladesh, it was important to spread this awareness and enable RAH Infotech and Rapid7’s customers to gear up for the new cyber battles and this evening was dedicated to this cause.
Mr. Perkett spoke about, how does this affect the security posture of business organizations in India? What should you take into consideration when developing your cyber security programs? Are the security leaders just merely launching network and application scans to find vulnerabilities? How are they leveraging the intelligence of user behaviour analytics to detect compromised credentials, malware and phishing earlier in the attack chain? And do they have the necessary resources and expertise to monitor and hunt attackers in your environment?
All in all it was a very interactive session of networking over cocktails and dinner.
